7/10/10

Yesterday PCI poured concrete across the whole deck of the bridge. It's now covered in burlap, and sprinklers will be running for about three days to keep the concrete moist, presumably to ensure proper curing.

There is still a large gap on the south side between the roadway and the new deck, so no sneaking through yet.

They are removing dirt today from the southwest corner, using it to fill in the ditch on the east side of the road just south of Kennelworth Court. The cat loaded the side-dump truck, then used the bucket to help push the dump truck up the hill and on to the road. Teamwork! Once they get the dirt cleared out, they will put in large rock to solidify the bank.
